Ulcerative Colitis (UC) is a chronic disease characterized by continuous inflammation of the colonic and rectal mucosa. Children with UC are more likely to present with extensive disease and have more rapid clinical progression than adults.1 This study compared treatment patterns between pediatric and adult patients with UC.
