P008 A QUALITATIVE STUDY OF THE PATIENT EXPERIENCE OF PAIN AND PAIN-RELATED FUNCTIONAL IMPACTS SPECIFIC TO CROHN’S DISEASE

Crohn’s disease (CD) is a chronic inflammatory gastrointestinal (GI) disorder that may involve any site of the GI tract. CD is characterized by intestinal and extra intestinal manifestations. Symptoms include persistent diarrhea and pain. Pain symptoms can range from slight discomfort to severe pain and can be episodic with symptom flare-ups that can have impacts on daily life. The objective of this study was to understand pain symptoms and related impacts specific to CD.
