Immunotherapy for Gastrointestinal Cancer (edited by Kerr and Johnson) is a wonderful primer on immunity and immunotherapy as it pertains not only to cancer in general, but also with an emphasis on gastrointestinal malignancies. David Kerr and Rebecca Johnson have put together a wonderful and timely book on this broad topic that is of increasing importance. The book is well-written and is both comprehensive but digestible, highlighting several foundational areas that need to be understood when considering the challenges of immunotherapy in cancers of the gastrointestinal tract.
