The stated mission of the Practice & Quality Department of the American Gastroenterological Association Institute (AGA) is to help gastroenterologists provide high-quality, high-value care by contributing to the definition of optimal clinical practice. The publication of evidence-based clinical guidelines is essential to achieving this overarching goal. Over the past five years, the range of clinical guidance products offered by the AGA has grown in size while improving in quality.
