I received my B.S. in mathematics at the University of Florida where I worked to apply methods from Topological Data Analysis to fMRI data with Peter Bubenik and Mike Catanzaro. I also worked under Miklos Bona as a part of UF&#8217;s University Scholars Program to study graceful graph labelings.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Contact Information<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Office SC1227H<\/p>\n<p>Email: samuel.a.rizzo@vanderbilt.edu<\/p>\n<p>Office Hours: Monday 12:00pm-1:00pm, Thursday 11:00am-12:00pm<\/p>\n<p><strong>Research Interests<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Complex Geometry, K\u00e4hler Geometry, Data Science.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m interested in finding constant scalar curvature (cscK) metrics on\u00a0K\u00e4hler manifolds.\u00a0Recently, I have been interested in\u00a0better understanding the construction of extremal metrics on\u00a0non-compact manifolds. To be a little more specific, I have been interested in the construction of cscK metrics on\u00a0Asymptotically Locally Euclidean (ALE) manifolds.<\/p>\n<p>I am also broadly interested in data science.
