To be perfectly honest, I was underwhelmed by Secondlife. I know its an older program, but the clunky controls and blocky graphics made it difficult to play, let alone have any meaningful connection with the character. I chose an avatar which with similar qualities to myself and chatted briefly with some other users, who seemed to mainly be looking for relationships. The most interesting aspect of the game, and the one that I occupied most of my time doing was exploring the in-game universe, where I found some interesting environments I probed with my character, such as the lighthouse my character is looking out of pictured above. Overall I didn’t feel any real connection with the game, and I doubt I’ll play it again.
