Despite my limited experience with Second Life, I was able to quickly identify different aspects of this program that I found to be either intriguing or, on the other hand, unstimulating. I liked how I was able to choose my Avatar and interact in a 360 degree world. I went on the site very early in the morning and was taken aback for a second when another user started a conversation with my Avatar on the site; this interactive feature between technology users across state–and sometimes country–boundaries has become only more popular with new video gaming technology and the like. That being said, some aspects of the site were quite unrealistic, such as the clear robotic movements of the Avatars. Video games today have immensely improved on this visual aspect, with games like Madden 16 showing football player Avatars tackling each other impressively realistically.
