The Smithsonian Women\u2019s History Act provides for the creation of a national museum dedicated to women\u2019s history. The first is a conversation with Patricia Resnick,\u00a0the screenwriter\u00a0for\u00a0<i>9 to 5<\/i>,\u00a0which celebrated its 40th\u00a0anniversary in December.\u00a0This discussion,\u00a0a\u00a0collaboration with the Belcourt Theatre, will be on Monday, March 15 at 5:15 p.m. CT.\u00a0On Monday, March 29 at 12:00 p.m. CT, Elizabeth\u00a0Gedmark, Vice President of\u00a0A\u00a0Better Balance, will give a lecture entitled \u201cWomen in the Workforce and COVID-19: Where Do We Go from Here?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Several events during the month connect to the challenges women have faced entering male-dominated arenas, including careers in the sciences, in sports, and in the academy.
