John A. Curci, MD

Dr. Curci is board certified by the American Board of Surgery in Vascular Surgery. He is also a member of the American College of Surgeons, American Heart Association, Association for Academic Surgery and the Society for Vascular Surgery. He has received multiple awards, including research prizes from American College of Surgeons (Missouri Chapter) and the Society of Vascular Surgery.  He has been named a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, and is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society.  He is currently serving as the Chair of the Research and Education Committee of the Society for Vascular Surgery and Program Chair for the Vascular Research Initiatives Conference.  He also serves on the Program Committees for the Vascular Annual Meeting and the Atherosclerosis, Thrombosis and Vascular Biology/Peripheral Vascular Disease Scientific Sessions.

Sophie Drozdz

Sophie is a senior Biomedical Engineering from Mason, Ohio. She is passionate about healthcare and global health. After graduation, she hopes to pursue a biomedical career that impacts the lives of those in need. She is a member of the Society of Women in Engineering, and enjoys reading, cycling, and yoga in her free time.

Antonio Glenn

Antonio is a senior Biomedical Engineer from Lakeland, Florida. Upon graduation, he hopes to attend an M.D/Ph.D. program and combine his passion for technology and engineering with healthcare. He is an avid computer programmer and enjoys learning about new subjects pertaining to machine learning, software, and electronics.

Connor Krolak

Connor is a biomedical engineering and electrical engineering double major from Lexington, KY. He has a strong drive for research in medical imaging and biomaterials, and desires to pursue research in his career. He sings a cappella in Harmonic Notion, and enjoys art and cooking in his spare time.

Danielle Liu

Danielle is a biomedical engineering major from Gainesville, FL. She has a passion for transforming creative ideas into deliverables. She is interested in biomaterials and medical devices research. In her free time, she loves to dance and choreograph in VUPointe, hike, climb, garden, and bake.
