Note that starting January 12, 2009 all Visa Waiver Program (VWP) travelers are now required to obtain a travel authorization via the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/esta.cbp.dhs.gov\/esta\/\">Electronic System for Travel Authorization<\/a>\u00a0(ESTA) prior to traveling to the U.S. under the VWP. \u00a0Please call your local U.S. consulate or embassy and inquire what the rules are pertaining to your country.\u00a0 If you are already in the U.S. on a visa (e.g. F-1, J-1, or H1B), please talk to the international office at your home institution and inquire about the rules pertaining to reimbursement.<\/p>\n<p>Email any questions or concerns regarding this policy to\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:katherine.e.griffis@vanderbilt.edu\">Katherine Griffis<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>All non-U.S. citizens who will be receiving financial support need to fill out a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/forms.vanderbilt.edu\/view.php?id=52826\">Business Visitor Questionnaire<\/a>\u00a0form BEFORE arriving in Nashville. \u00a0Participants might also be asked to submit\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/finance.vanderbilt.edu\/disbursements\/W-info.php\">W-8 or W-9 forms<\/a>\u00a0prior to being reimbursed.
