{"id":437,"date":"2018-12-19T14:25:16","date_gmt":"2018-12-19T19:25:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/my.vanderbilt.edu\/skyvu\/?p=437"},"modified":"2018-12-19T14:25:16","modified_gmt":"2018-12-19T19:25:16","slug":"purchasing-payments-shipments","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/my.vanderbilt.edu\/skyvu\/2018\/12\/purchasing-payments-shipments\/","title":{"rendered":"Purchases, Payments and Shipments during the Winter Break"},"content":{"rendered":"<h4><strong>Complete Preparations for the Winter Break<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>As discussed in the December 14th\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.gotostage.com\/channel\/30d50136eb384be39e3085aed5b9e44d\/recording\/0465f4c20c8b433f9d581d91b69b9f9f\/watch\">P2P user group webinar<\/a>, users should be preparing for the holiday break by:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Taking action to approve (or reject, if appropriate) any outstanding invoices<\/strong> so that payments can be processed timely and accurately; and<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Discussing any remaining outstanding procurement or expense needs with your Financial Unit Manager(s) <\/strong>to ensure any urgent transactions will be approved in a timely manner \u2013 transactions that are <u>not<\/u> urgent are advised to be held until after the break.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Package Delivery Schedule: Monday, December 24 through Tuesday, January 1, 2019.<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>During our Winter Break both FedEx and UPS have been instructed to hold all regular package delivery and pick up services.\u00a0\u00a0In the event you have an urgent need to schedule a delivery or pick up during this time, you may contact the appropriate carrier at the following numbers:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>FedEx:<\/strong> 800-463-3339. Use the FedEx tracking number on the package (if available) or the delivery address. Express service packages may be picked at their Express counter located at: 127 Athens Way, Nashville, TN 37228. FedEx will be closed on December 25<sup>th<\/sup> and January 1<sup>st<\/sup>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>UPS:<\/strong> 615-299-4673 or 615-299-4674.
