Microsoft SharePoint Designer 2007 is now Free

Microsoft has announced it will offer Sharepoint Designer 2007 for free via download from http://www.microsoft.com/sharepoint beginning April 1, 2009. SharePoint Designer provides tools for automating business processes, building SharePoint applications, and customizing SharePoint sites.

Effective immediately, this product will no longer be sold through the ITS Software Store since it is no longer available through volume licensing
