Corel WordPerfect Office X7 for Windows

Corel released WordPerfect Office X7 for Windows on April 8, 2014 and the Software Store now offers the new version to departments for use on Vanderbilt owned computers.  You can use WordPerfect Office to open, edit, and create PDF files.  New features in X7 include

  • PDF Forms feature: Create PDF forms and populate the forms with text fields, check boxes, drop down lists, radio buttons, and more.
  • eBook Publisher: the enhanced WordPerfect eBook Publisher supports both EPUB and MOBI formats, and provides compatibility with Kobo, Kindle, Nook and Sony Reader eBook devices.
  • Mail Merge Expert: this new wizard guides you through each step of a mail merge and makes it simple to create form documents such as letters, labels, and envelopes for mass mailings.
  • Macro Manager: this new tool presents macros in one dialog box where you can view each macro’s properties, add descriptions, preview a macro’s text, and run or edit macros.
