JetBrains released PyCharm 4 on November 20, 2014.

  • Vanderbilt faculty and students are eligible to download PyCharm for $0 through the Software Store.
  • Faculty may use PyCharm for academic (non-commercial) research and educating students in classes.
  • Students may install the software on personally owned computers for doing coursework.
  • Each license includes product maintenance.
