Deadline for Buying Adobe Creative Suite 6
Vanderbilt currently participates in Adobe’s Cumulative License Program (CLP), which enables departments to buy Adobe software at discounted prices for use on Vanderbilt-owned devices. Please be advised that Adobe is removing the Creative Suite (CS6) from this program, effective Feb. 28. The following products are part of CS6 and will no longer be available through CLP:
- After Effects Professional
- Audition
- Design & Web Premium
- Design Standard
- Dreamweaver
- Fireworks
- Flash Professional
- Illustrator
- InCopy
- InDesign
- Master Collection
- Photoshop Extended
- Premier Pro
- Production Premium
Vanderbilt departments have the following options for purchasing Adobe software:
- Place and approve orders for CS6 through the Software Store by Feb. 24. This will allow the store to process all orders by the Adobe deadline. The Software Store will remove all CS6 products from its product catalog on Feb. 25.
- Purchase CS6 through adobe.com. Adobe will charge retail pricing rather than the academic pricing for schools.
- Buy an Adobe Creative Cloud (CC) membership through the Software Store by placing an order under the “Departments” tab. The Software Store offers discounted, pro-rated pricing for the following CC subscriptions:
- After Effects
- Audition
- Creative Cloud for Teams
- Dreamweaver
- Edge Animate
- Edge Inspect
- Flash Professional
- Illustrator
- InCopy
- InDesign
- Muse
- Photoshop
- Prelude
- Premiere Pro
- SpeedGrade
Subscriptions are for institutional use, expire each year on July 19, include maintenance and require an annual renewal.
