Adobe CLP Contract Renewed through

Posted by on Friday, September 27, 2013 in Blog.

Vanderbilt began participating in Adobe’s Cumulative Licensing Program (CLP) in 2001.  Each CLP term lasts two years.  We recently extended Vanderbilt’s CLP agreement through September 30, 2015.

CLP allows departments to purchase perpetual licenses for Adobe software products at discount.  Customers may optionally buy maintenance for some products.  Maintenance provides customers with $0 access to new versions released by Adobe during the CLP agreement term.  Purchasing maintenance does not guarantee Adobe will release a new version during the maintenance period.

Adobe allows CLP customers to renew maintenance during the first month of each CLP agreement.  This is the only time you can buy maintenance as a standalone product without bundling it with a license purchase.  The Software Store alerted customers with existing maintenance that they could renew their maintenance through September 30, 2015.  The deadline to renew is October 25, 2013.
