Posted by on Monday, January 28, 2013 in Blog.

Microsoft released Service Pack 1 (SP1) for System Center 2012 products:

• System Center 2012 Client Management Suite with Service Pack 1
• System Center 2012 Configuration Manager Client Management License with Service Pack 1
• System Center 2012 Datacenter with Service Pack 1
• System Center 2012 Endpoint Protection with Service Pack 1
• System Center 2012 Standard with Service Pack 1

SP1 adds Windows Server 2012 support to System Center 2012, integrates with Windows Azure Virtual Machines, and integrates with externally-hosted clouds.

You can also use System Center Configuration Manager SP1 console with the next version of Windows Intune (Microsoft’s PC management and security service) to help manage Windows RT and Windows Phone 8 devices by setting mobile security policies, distributing mobile apps and viewing reports. Microsoft expects to release the next version of Windows Intune during early 2013.
