During the conference, our team gave two poster presentations.<\/p>\n<p>Nicol\u00f2 Garbin and Dennis C. Sohn presented the abstract: \u201c<a href=\"http:\/\/dx.doi.org\/10.1016\/j.gie.2017.03.1149\">Evaluation of a Novel Disposable Upper Endoscope for Unsedated Bedside (Non-Endoscopy Unit Based) Assessment of the Upper Gastrointestinal (UGI) Tract<\/a>\u201d by Nicol\u00f2 Garbin, Shabnam Sarker, Dennis C. Sohn, Piotr R. Slawinski, Pietro Valdastri, Keith L. Obstein. \u00a0EurekAlert included this presentation in their<a href=\"https:\/\/www.eurekalert.org\/pub_releases\/2017-05\/asfg-ahs050417.php\">\u00a0ASGE highlighted sessions at Digestive Disease Week<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Shabnam Sarker, Piotr R. Slawinski, and Addisu Z. Taddese presented\u00a0the abstract: \u201c<a href=\"http:\/\/dx.doi.org\/10.1016\/j.gie.2017.03.1149\">The First Autonomously Controlled Capsule Robot for Colon Exploration<\/a>\u201d by Shabnam Sarker, Piotr R. Slawinski, Addisu Z. Taddese, Kyle B. Musto, Pietro Valdastri, Keith L. Obstein. This abstract was selected for a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ddw.org\/blogs\/aimee-frank\/2017\/05\/09\/non-surgical-weight-loss-treatment-found-safe-effective-for-those-with-limited-options?CommunityKey=e1a95ab4-c2da-436d-be33-59f0c867cdcf&amp;tab=\">press release by DDW<\/a> and was also featured by\u00a0several media outlets including <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eurekalert.org\/pub_releases\/2017-05\/ddw-fac050317.php\">EurekAlert<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dailymail.co.uk\/sciencetech\/article-4484996\/Autonomous-capsule-robot-explores-colon-time.html\">Daily Mail<\/a>\u00a0and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.medpagetoday.com\/meetingcoverage\/ddw\/65186\">Medpage Today<\/a>.
