Hello! I am a second-year MPP candidate in Education Policy at Vanderbilt University’s Peabody College, and I currently work at the Tennessee Education Research Alliance as a graduate assistant.
Prior to starting at Vanderbilt, I taught 4th and 5th grade English Language Arts in South Carolina, and I have previous experience at the Tennessee Department of Education, Bellwether Education Partners, and the South Carolina Association of School Administrators. My policy interests include teacher training and evaluation, school discipline policy, rural education, and school funding. I care deeply about education’s role in fighting racial and economic inequities. I hold a B.A. in Political Science from the University of South Carolina Honors College.
