{"id":4,"date":"2023-07-11T15:49:22","date_gmt":"2023-07-11T15:49:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/my.vanderbilt.edu\/trounstine\/about-me\/"},"modified":"2023-07-12T21:19:41","modified_gmt":"2023-07-13T02:19:41","slug":"about-me","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/my.vanderbilt.edu\/trounstine\/about-me\/","title":{"rendered":"About Me"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Jessica Trounstine earned her Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of California, San Diego in 2004 and is now a Professor of Political Science at Vanderbilt University.\u00a0 Previously, she served as the Foundation Board of Trustees Presidential Chair and Professor of Political Science at the University of California, Merced and as an Assistant Professor of Politics and Public Policy at Princeton University. \u00a0\u00a0She is the author of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cambridge.org\/core\/books\/segregation-by-design\/9CEF629688C0C684EDC387407F5878F2\"><em>Segregation by Design: Local Politics and Inequality in American Cities<\/em> <\/a>(Cambridge University Press), winner of the Best Book in the Field from the Urban Affairs Association, the J.
