Dr. Nicole Joseph is seeking student research assistants for her work in exploring the experiences of Black women and girls in mathematics. Research assistants will be involved in coding, data entry, building literature reviews, data collection and some administrative work. Research assistants are welcome to participate in research group meetings in this work.

Work is ongoing, but can be limited to a single semester and can be used for course credit through independent research. Dr. Joseph anticipates opportunities for individual research to emerge for students involved.

Interested students should submit an introduction and statement of interest, including why they are interested in this particular research, to Nicole Joseph, nicole.m.joseph@vanderbilt.edu.
