Symposium on Modeling Immunity set for April 27

The Vanderbilt Center for Structural Biology and Vanderbilt Vaccine Center invite you to attend the 2017 Symposium on Modeling Immunity on April 27. Hosted from 1 – 4:30 p.m., in MRB3 room 1220,this symposium will focus on modeling and designing antibodies. The list of confirmed speakers includes:

  • Sarel Fleishman, Ph.D. – Senior Scientist, Department of Biomolecular Sciences; Martha S. Sagon Career Development Chair, Weizmann Institute of Science.
  • Frank DiMaio, Ph.D. – Assistant Professor, Department of Biochemistry, University of Washington.
  • Steven Kleinstein, Ph.D. – Associate Professor of Pathology, Yale School of Medicine.
  • Andrew Ward, Ph.D. – Associate Professor, Department of Integrative Structural and Computational Biology, The Scripps Institute.
  • Jens Meiler, Ph.D. – Professor, Department of Chemistry and Pharmacology, Vanderbilt University.

The symposium will be followed by a poster session in the MRB3 1st floor atrium at 4:30 p.m.  Trainees of the Vanderbilt Program for Next Generation Vaccines will present an update on their current studies.
