EDI Accepting Funding Requests

Posted by on Tuesday, February 19, 2019 in Announcements, News.

The Office for Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI), with assistance from the Provost’s Office for Inclusive Excellence, is accepting funding requests to support equity, diversity and inclusion efforts or activities that benefit the Vanderbilt community, either individually or in groups. These efforts include but are not limited to education, outreach, community building, professional development and resource creation. Activities eligible for funding include, but are not limited to, trainings, experiences, programs, and events.

Any Individuals or groups within the Vanderbilt community can initiate funding requests and funding can be used towards collective efforts between one or more Vanderbilt-affiliated people, organizations, units or departments. Proposals are accepted on a rolling basis, but for priority consideration should be submitted at least 21 days in advance.

To apply, login to AnchorLink, navigate to the “Office of Equity, Diversity and Inclusion” organization page, and under the Forms heading, click on “Funding Request Form” or use this direct link (users will be directed to sign in with their VUNet ID).

Those selected for funding awards must submit:

  • All applicable receipts the funding request covers,
  • A brief post-experience/effort report, and
  • Any marketing materials used

Please contact Foula Dimopoulos if you have any questions. We look forward to learning about your efforts!
