Elf Program a Success

Posted by on Thursday, January 19, 2017 in Archive, News.

Over $8,000 collected from University and Medical Center staff made it possible to assist over 30 Vanderbilt families with their holiday plans as part of the Elf Program administered by Work Life Connections – EAP (Employee Assistance Program).

“I had so many hugs and tears from employees that were struggling to figure out how to make ends meet, much less how to provide a special Christmas for their families and children. It was truly an unexpected gift to them.” — Amy E. Goodwin, Work Life Connections – EAP

The Employee Assistance Program deals with a variety of issues (stress, emotional health, relationships, family, financial, alcohol, drug, legal and other personal concerns) and is available to Vanderbilt staff including full-time, part-time and VTS employees and their spouses or domestic partners.
