How long have you been a Vanderbilt employee?<\/strong><\/p>\n

I have been at Vanderbilt for 5 \u00bd years! Started in 2019 in Student Affairs on the Student Leadership Development team.<\/p>\n

What do you enjoy most about Vanderbilt? (i.e. missions, benefits, views of sustainability, community, etc.)?<\/strong><\/p>\n

My favorite thing about Vanderbilt is certainly the community that you have the opportunity to build and grow. I have met some of my best friends here at Vanderbilt and some incredible colleagues that I hope to stay connected with for a long time!<\/p>\n

What do you enjoy doing to relieve stress?<\/strong><\/p>\n

To relieve stress, I love to spend time with my pup, Olive! I also enjoy catching up on reality TV, spending some time cooking a good meal in the kitchen, or staying active by running or doing yoga.<\/p>\n

What did you want to be when you grew up?<\/strong><\/p>\n

I\u2019ve always wanted to be a pilot! I love flying and spending time in the airport. I hope eventually this is still something I can pick up as a hobby or who knows, maybe a mid-life crisis career change!<\/p>\n

If you could visit any country with no budget, where would you visit?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Hmm\u2026Singapore or Australia! And if there is no budget, it will nothing less than First Class and Five Stars!<\/p>\n

What has been your favorite vacation you have ever been on?<\/strong><\/p>\n

After finishing graduate school, I took 5-weeks off to travel to Ireland, Italy, and Germany. Just enough time to hit all the hot spots and explore like a local! Certainly would love to go back to any three of those countries.<\/p>\n

What skill or talent would you most like to learn? <\/strong><\/p>\n

I wish I could paint! It seems like such a relaxing hobby to get a canvas and some oil colors and just create a beautiful piece of art\u2014however that side of my brain doesn\u2019t work like the other side.<\/p>\n

If you had an extra hour each day, how would you spend it? <\/strong><\/p>\n

Well, I would start by requesting that extra hour of the day be during the daytime and not at night! I would spend it doing something for myself (not work related), spending time with friends, finding a new happy hour to try, or take Olive out to the park and play with her doggy friends.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
