Rhodes and Leona B. Carpenter Professor of\u00a0New Testament Studies in the Divinity School; Professor of Jewish Studies; and Professor of New Testament Studies.<\/p>\n<p>The renowned Biblical scholar has authored a number of notable works including<em>The Misunderstood Jew: The Church and the Scandal of the Jewish Jesus<\/em> (HarperOne), the edited collection, <em>The Historical Jesus in Context <\/em>(Princeton), and the fourteen-volume edited series, Feminist Companions to the New Testament and Early Christian Writings (Continuum).
