Annual stipendStipend is provided at the appropriate NIH Postdoctoral Rate career level
Tuition support*Up to $4500 for those not enrolled in a degree granting program; up to $16,000 for those enrolled in a degree granting program.

*These funds must be requested and approved by the NIH
Training Related Expenses$11,850 to cover expenses such as health insurance, travel to professional & scientific conferences, and research
Translational Science travel support$1,000 to attend the annual Translational Science meeting
Length of appointmentUp to 2 years, renewable annually upon satisfactory research and career development progress
Citizenship requirementsUS citizen or permanent resident
Doctoral degree requirementsClinical doctorate (MD, DO, DDS, PsyD, PharmD) or PhD, DrPH
Primary mentor faculty appointment requirementPrimary mentor must be either Vanderbilt or Meharry faculty
