The\u00a0Chancellor\u2019s Award for Research\u00a0recognizes excellence in works of research, scholarship or creative expression published or presented in the last three calendar years.<\/p>\n<p>Josh Caldwell, Flowers Family Chancellor Faculty Fellow and professor of mechanical engineering, and\u00a0Bennett Landman, professor and chair of electrical and computer engineering, were honored for their co-authored piece \u201cDeterministic inverse design of Tamm plasmon thermal emitters with multi-resonant control,\u201d which was published in the journal\u00a0Nature Materials\u00a0in 2021.
