Perimeter TAP Upgrade

On July 30, 2014, from 3:00 AM – 7:00 AM Vanderbilt University Information Technology (VUIT) Network Services and Security Operations will upgrade the perimeter Packet Broker Test Access Point (TAP) device operating system and change the physical cabling to/from the TAP, for both the Hill and Bryan building locations. No downtime is expected for this change as the perimeter firewall will fail over to the redundant site.
