VUIT Scheduled Maintenance: AccessVU Attribute Additions

Vanderbilt IT will update AccessVU applications on Thursday, July 30 from 6:30 to 6:50 a.m. This change will allow AccessVU to provide information about the affiliation of each VUnetID for university and/or medical center. In the coming weeks, these values will become fully populated in LDAP and AD for all users. The values can then be used as systems, and users will be able to differentiate populations in preparation for legal separation.

This change will require a database schema change and, therefore, will require a brief outage for both the AccessVU admin tool and end user tools that are primarily used for password changes. The tools are expected to be unavailable for roughly 20 minutes beginning around 6:30 a.m.

This change will run in conjunction with the EPI migration to WebLogic.
