VUIT Scheduled Maintenance: VUIT HOSTING

On Sunday, Dec. 4, from 12 to 6 a.m., Vanderbilt IT will apply December’s monthly Windows server security updates, as well as any previous monthly patches still required. These updates will help maintain security and software for core Microsoft Windows operating systems.

 

All non-redundant services will be impacted by a server reboot after patch installation. These services include:

SQL Cluster

wins1, wins2

prt1, prt2

VUIT hosted SharePoint sites

vCenter (virtual server management)
