Network switch replacement in Medical Research Building 4 – July 19th
On Friday, July 19, from 5:30 a.m. to 7 a.m., VUMC IT will replace the Cisco network switches on the 3rd and 4th floors of Medical Research Building 4 to improve bandwidth and throughput.
This will be a rolling outage; switches are expected to be down for less than five minutes at a time. During this period, some loss to network connectivity and phone service can be expected.
