Monthly Microsoft Patching on Voicemail Servers

On Sunday, October 10, from midnight to 4 a.m., VUIT will install Microsoft Windows Operating System patches on Voicemail Servers.

This will impact VU and VUMC users of traditional voicemail. (Skype voicemail will not be affected.) While the patches are installed and the system server is restarted, the following will occur:

1. Outside callers will receive a prompt stating that their message will be delayed because of system maintenance.

2. Users will not be able to log in to their voicemail.

3. Out-call notifications (informing a recipient that they have a voicemail) will be delayed.
