SSL Certificate Validity Capped at Two Years

Posted by on Monday, January 8, 2018 in News.

The Certificate Authority/Browser Forum (CA/B Forum) sets baseline requirements for SSL certificates. The CA/B Forum issued a new baseline requirement that defines the maximum validity period for SSL certificates as 825 days. The new requirement goes into effect on March 1, 2018.

To comply with the new requirement,  the Software Store is removing three-year SSL certificates from its product catalog.

We continue to offer one- and two-year SSL, SAN, and Wildcard certificates.
