Biography

Xiaochen Yang received his Ph.D. in Computer Science in Dept. of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, Vanderbilt University, advised by Dr. Benoit Dawant, and co-advised by Dr. Michael Miga.

He received his master’s degree in Computer Science from University of Missouri-Columbia, USA, under advisory of Dr. Ye Duan.

His bachelor’s degree in Computer Science is from Chang’an University, China, advised by Dr. Youquan Liu.


Research Interest

Medical image analysis, computer vision and graphics, 3D visualization and reconstruction, and image-guided surgery.
