Rashid Yasin is a graduate student at Vanderbilt University, in the ARMA Lab. His research is in medical robotics, with a focus on minimally invasive surgical systems. Specific research interests include development of systems for precise manipulation, intelligent robotic exploration of unknown environments, and new manipulation strategies for surgical robots.
Rashid received a BS in Engineering Sciences from Harvard University in 2012 and an MS in Mechanical Engineering from UCLA in 2014.
