About Us

Chartered in 1946, the Vanderbilt chapter of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE) seeks to connect Chemical Engineering undergraduates and bring opportunities for professional development and networking. We also act as a liaison between Vanderbilt ChBE and other AIChE entities, connecting our ChBE students to peers in other schools, as well as the national AIChE chapter. Our organization:

• Hosts fun, community-building, social events
• Fosters networking opportunities between alumni, professors, and students
• Brings in companies for small information sessions
• Travels to learn about a variety of industries
• Provides helpful study material
• Arrange professional development workshops
• Connect our students to the broader chemical engineering community
