I am a PhD alumna of Dr. Richard Haglund’s Applied Optical Physics Group at Vanderbilt University.  See my ResearchGate for information after my PhD.

My graduate research focused primarily on the interaction of a phase change material, vanadium dioxide, with metal plasmonic particles as well as the fabrication of these materials.

Outside of the lab, I participated in Vanderbilt Student Volunteers for Science (VSVS) Robotics, bringing computer programming concepts to middle school students using LEGO Mindstorms.

Before my time at Vanderbilt, I received my B.S. in Physics from Gettysburg College in 2011.
