Support Requests

We hope to be able to assist students, postdoctoral and other early-career attendees, women, and underrepresented minorities, who must pay a substantial portion of their travel costs.  Depending on the funding we receive, we may also be able to help fund some other researchers without any external funding of their own. Those participants who expect to be in need of support are encouraged to apply by downloading a support form (to be added soon), and mailing it to ConstructiveFunctions2025@gmail.com by February 14, 2025.

Please note that we cannot provide any funds in advance of the meeting. You will have to buy your ticket and pay the registration fee yourself, and if we are able to provide some support to you, we will reimburse you only after the meeting. However, we may be able to pay (part or all of) your room costs directly to the hotel. We may ask you to share a room.

Support amounts, if any, will be based on need and availability. We will decide about funding and send applicants a notification no later than March 28, 2025.

Childcare resources and childcare financial support. The organizers will offer childcare grants of up to $250 per person to help with childcare-related expenses for participants with children. The organizing committee will provide a list of childcare/drop-in-daycare providers in the area of the meeting.
