Frühlingsfest 2022

Art Contest (Pre-Fest)

Art concepts must be clearly related to a German-speaking country and must be made by student(s) participating in Frühlingsfest. Crude, violent, or inappropriate content matter such as Nazi symbols, personages, etc. will not be accepted. No limit on the number of entries per school. Instructors: Please email these to Rudy Saliba (norman.r.saliba@vanderbilt.edu) by February 18th.

Art Categories: 

  1. 2-D: Poster (22″ x 28″ only) and Paintings/Drawings (i.e., pen and ink, charcoal, oil, watercolor). For all entries in this category, students will submit a photo in JPEG or PNG format, which will be posted on the FF website. 
  2. 3-D: Replicas, Models, Sculpture, Woodcarving, etc. For all entries in the 3-D category, students will upload a video no more than 3 minutes long showing and describing their artwork, how they developed the idea for it, and what materials they used. Video may be in English or German. Video may be a simple MP4 or uploaded to YouTube.
