Küchenschlacht Video Contest (Pre-Fest)
We can’t wait to discover the next German-speaking Gordon Ramsay, Paul Hollywood, or Mary Berry! In this event, students will make a video of themselves showing how to cook or bake a German, Austrian, Swiss, etc. dish in the style of a television cooking/baking show.
Requirements:
- Student(s) must speak only in German
- Student(s) must taste their confections at the end of the video
- Student(s) must upload video to YouTube Shorts
- Video can be no longer than 60 seconds (time limit of the platform). Instructions on how to make a YouTube Short can be found here: https://tinyurl.com/bddhrtvr
Please upload your videos and send a link to your Short by February 18. They will also be uploaded to the website to be viewed by other students. Videos will be judged on:
- Concept
- Editing
- Clarity of instructions provided to viewers
- Use of German (no English, please)
