Members of the group currently work on a variety of projects in these interest areas including improving RF system calibrations such as mapping of the RF transmit field, advanced patient-tailored RF pulse designs for mitigating the effects of B1 and B0 field inhomogeneities, improved temperature reconstruction methods for guiding HIFU surgery, HIFU-incudeced hyperthermia for immunotherapy of  cancerous lesions in the breast and pancreas, and ultrasound autofocusing algorithms using MR imaging feedback.
