most recently kaleigh studied at the humboldt universität in berlin focusing german and austrian literature from the 19th and 20th centuries. although her m.a. research concentrated on the utilization of walter benjamin’s aesthetic theory in work of w.g. sebald, her interests also include women and gender studies, political theory, and the relationship between philosophy and literature, especially in the works of hannah arendt.
