Airport Transportation

Reservations are required (there is no airport desk). The services are roughly 4 a.m. to midnight (but they will wait longer than that if your flight is delayed coming in).
Taxi
Taxi fare to the Vanderbilt area is approximately $25-$30 one way. There is a taxi area at the airport. However, it is not easy to hail a taxi on the street in Nashville, so make a reservation to return to the airport.

City buses
Nashville Metropolitan Transit Authority (MTA)

$1.70 per bus route.
City bus (MTA) Route 18 (Elm Hill Pike/Airport) goes from the airport to Music City Central downtown and runs roughly once per hour. Routes 3, 5, and 7 service the Vanderbilt area. Schedules are available at the Airport Welcome Center on the baggage claim level and on the MTA website.
Parking at Vanderbilt
Parking is limited near campus. Visitors must pay for parking and may park only in designated lots. These include the Wesley Place Garage, which is near the Department of Mathematics. The cost is $15 a day, paid at a self-service kiosk. Overnight parking is not permitted. For all visitor parking lot locations, see the Campus Visitor Parking Map.
