Course summary
When the housing bubble burst in 2008, the mortgage meltdown and housing slump drastically reduced the equity or profitability of most real estate. But how houses are handled – in Divorce, Elder Law, and Probate/Trusts & Estates remained the same.
When the housing bubble burst in 2008, the mortgage meltdown and housing slump drastically reduced the equity or profitability of most real estate. But how houses are handled – in Divorce, Elder Law, and Probate/Trusts & Estates remained the same.
This CLE program explores the legal ethics of informed and voluntary decisions by clients, synthesizing lawyer ethics with enhanced real estate due diligence to foster informed and voluntary client decision-making and prevent malpractice/ethics violations by leveraging real estate resources (mostly free, some fee-based).
