Not much special equipment is needed for students to record a podcast. Using the voice memo features on most smart phones will yield audio that can be used. If students need more professional equipment or a quiet studio space, Vanderbilt offers a couple options:

• The Science & Engineering library has equipment students can reserve at https://www.library.vanderbilt.edu/science/gear2go/.
• Students can also use the podcasting room at the Curb Center  https://www.vanderbilt.edu/curbcenter/curb-rooms/.
• Vanderbilt Student Communications (VSC) has a podcast studio that students can use if they are willing to have their audio work shared with the Vanderbilt community through VSC distribution channels.
