New Publications

Our lab recently published 3 peer-reviewed journal articles, 2 invited chapters, and a conference proceeding paper. Below are 3 select publications.

Honors & Distinctions

Ph.D. Candidates, Nicollette Mitchell and Megumi Asada, received dissertation fellowships from the National Academy of Education and Spencer Foundation.

                     

 

 

 

 

 

 

Second-year Ph.D. student, Elsa Landeros, received an Honorable Mention distinction from the National Science Foundation’s 2024 Graduate Research Fellowship Program competition.

PRISM Lab Director, Dr. Luis Leyva, delivered the Iris M. Carl Equity Address at the 2024 Annual Meeting for the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics. He was also recognized as an Emerging Scholar honoree by the Diverse: Issues in Higher Education magazine in 2024.
