In recent years, the interest in non-classical logics and its connections with ordered algebraic structures has been growing. Motivations from computer science, natural language reasoning and linguistics have played a significant role in this development. The aim of the Shanks Workshop on Ordered Algebraic Structures and Logic, to be held in the Department of Mathematics of Vanderbilt University, 5–7 March 2020, is to bring together experts on both ordered structures and non-classical logics with the purpose of promoting further investigation into interactions between the two areas. The organizers of the workshop are J. Gil-Férez, A. Přenosil, and C. Tsinakis (Vanderbilt University, USA).
