STORM Lab at the Sixth Image-Guided Therapy workshop
March 21-23, 2013. The poster “Proof of Concept of Wireless Tissue Palpation in Abdominal Surgery” by M. Beccani, C. Di Natali, M. Rentschler, P. Valdastri was presented at the Sixth Image-Guided Therapy workshop organized in Washington DC by NCIGT, NIH, CNMO.

The other side of collaborative research
Since the Wireless Tissue Palpation trial was a success, the STORM Lab group that traveled to Colorado for the experiment enjoyed one full day of skiing at Copper Mountain, CO. Levin Sliker, graduate student in Dr. Rentschler Lab (University of Colorado – Boulder), guided us on the slopes. An awesome day!

First in vivo trial for Wireless Tissue Palpation
On March 12, 2013 we completed the first in vivo trial on Wireless Tissue Palpation.
