MGT 6371 – Operations Management (MBA Core): This is an introductory operations management course, which takes the process view of the firm and focuses on questions related to the design, management, and execution of processes in service and manufacturing organizations. The course emphasizes business process innovation and provides numerous examples of firms that have achieved competitive advantage because of their operations practices. Topics covered include operations strategy, process analysis and design, project management, queueing theory, supply chain management, and lean operations.

EMGT 7777 – Operations Management (Executive MBA): This is an introductory operations management course, which takes the process view of the firm and focuses on questions related to the design, management, and execution of processes in service and manufacturing organizations. MGT 6472 – Supply Chain Management (MBA Elective): This course builds upon the business process innovation concepts introduced in the introductory operations management course and examines the material, information, and cash flows between firms within a supply chain. Topics include supply chain strategy, demand forecasting, inventory management methods for short and long life cycle products, supply chain collaboration and coordination, and operational methods for managing supply chain risk.
